US Treasury Yield Curve

Yield Curve History

Par yields for 14 constant maturities from 1 month to 30 years, exactly as published by the U.S. Department of the Treasury — no fitting by this platform. Drag the slider to any business day back to January 1990, or press Play to watch the curve move. A maturity that did not exist on a date is simply absent: the 1-month begins in 2001, the 2-month in 2018, the 4-month in 2022, the 1.5-month in 2025, and the 30-year is missing from February 2002 to February 2006.

Compare

Yields by Maturity, Daily

The 2-, 10- and 30-year yields as published, with changes in the Federal Reserve's federal funds target marked. The 30-year has a real gap from 2002 to 2006, when the Treasury did not issue it — gaps stay gaps.

Real Yields by Maturity, Daily

Par real yields on Treasury inflation-protected securities (TIPS) — the yield above inflation — at 5, 10 and 30 years, exactly as published by the Treasury. The series begin in January 2003; the 7- and 20-year real yields are available through the API.

Maturity Detail

Every published maturity on the latest business day. Yields are official values to two decimals, exactly as released; changes are calculated from them and shown in percentage points.
