What each kind of investor bought less what it sold, week by week. A negative bar is net selling. Sales and purchases are published gross; the net is calculated from them and equals the balance column the exchange prints beside them.

Every investor category the exchange publishes, at the depth it publishes them — the total splits into proprietary and brokerage, brokerage into four investor types, institutions into four more, and financial institutions into four beyond that. Each level adds to the one above it, and that is checked at every ingest.
