Short Positions
Every disclosed short position in a Japanese listed company. A holder reaching 0.5% of an issuer's shares must report it, and the exchange publishes the report the next business day — holder, issuer, size, and the day the position was measured. The mirror of the 5% long filings, and the one record here that nobody can rebuild: JPX deletes each daily file after about twelve business days.
Most Shorted Companies
Short Sellers
Each holder's open book. Positions are counted and the largest one shown; ratios are not summed across companies, because a percentage of one company and a percentage of another are different measures.

Daily Files Held
One row per workbook JPX published and this archive read, with the SHA-256 of the bytes parsed. A day absent from this table is a day nobody can recover.
Disclosed Short Positions
Each holder's latest report on this company. Ratios and share counts are official statistics exactly as published by JPX. A holder that has fallen under 0.5% files once more and then stops — it is shown as closed, not removed.
